My community in Costa Rica has become my chosen family. Some of the wisest, kindest humans I have ever known. They have changed and enriched my life's journey, and my ability to share healing with others.
Creating a safe, tender space to gently support your internal work is my mission for curating these retreats. Change can be profound when the depths of the internal world and the energy of a like-minded group are held in balance. It is a deep human need to be witnessed as we grow, and the connections I have seen emerge from these experiences can be lifelong.

My hope for you is that this retreat becomes a sturdy bridge between your spiritual growth and your return to daily life, that it guides you to show up in new ways for yourself, your family, your friends, your work, and your communities, and connects you with a life of greater ease and less suffering.
The Location
Your home for the retreat is the lush Dominicalito, on the southernmost tip of the country rich farmland, high jungle mountains including the exquisite Diamante Falls, and a surfers' paradise. We stay at Casa Nautika, a private guest home designed to welcome intimate retreats. Its owner, Jon, is deeply involved in the medicine community and will be our gracious host. The house is open-plan and intentional: a feeling of community, with ample room for private sanctuary. Much of the integration work happens here.

The Medicine
The medicine journeys center on the plant medicine Ayahuasca. There will be three overnight ceremonies led by a deeply practiced medicine man of the Santo Daime tradition, who has lived in the valley serving the medicine for over twenty-five years growing, harvesting, cooking, and serving all of his own medicine. The ceremonies are held overnight in the beautiful temple space of the Diamante Valley.
Musical frequencies are central to the way the medicine moves through our systems; the ceremonies are accompanied by live music, offering both the harmony and the friction the arc of the experience asks for. Alongside Ayahuasca, there will be other ceremonies including a Temazcal (sweat lodge) held by an experienced medicine man working from a Brazilian tradition.

Integration
Integration is, in my experience, the most important part of the process. The ceremonies can be intensely transformative psychologically, emotionally, spiritually... but the lessons often unfold gradually and ask for practice to be woven fully into your life. I honor that everyone integrates differently; that, too, is part of the process.
There are daily offerings: yoga, massage, sound healing, breath work, and time to journal, draw, walk in the jungle, and swim in the ocean. I offer one-on-one IFS and Hakomi-based integration work, individually, as often as you need throughout the retreat. I also hold private integration sessions before arrival and after your return home, with two group sessions afterward for continued collective integration.

You'll experience the culinary artistry of our in-residence chef. Each meal is crafted to align with the healing energy of the medicine, holistic nourishment for both body and spirit.

Ten percent of every retreat registration is donated back to the farmland to help maintain healthy soil and support the continued growth of this medicine for future generations.
A limited number of sliding-scale spaces are available for each retreat. If you are in a position to help subsidize a space for someone in need, we would love to hear from you.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Deposits, Refunds & Cancellations
Your retreat space is confirmed once your $3,250 USD deposit has been received.
If you are unable to attend, we will make every effort to fill your space. If your space is filled, your registration fee will be refunded less a $500 USD administrative fee. If we are unable to fill your space, your registration is non-refundable.
Should the retreat be cancelled by YOXON IM, Casa Nautika, or the Costa Rican government, your registration fee will be refunded less the $500 USD administrative fee.
A minimum of seven full-paying participants is required for the retreat to proceed.
